I volunteer at the Amarillo Zoo on weekends, usually doing docent stuff but sometimes filling for cage cleaning if they're short staffed. We've been getting a reptile house ready for longer than I want to admit, and the ribbon cutting was yesterday I'm more active in the retic and kingsnake forum, but since a burmese is one of our display animals, it fits better here :D

the cage is as long as the albino is, and maybe 4' wide?

that guy's just cool right now they're trying to have a "meet a snake" station open on saturdays with some of us volunteers there with a snake (usually a ball, but they're raising up some other animals) for kids to pet. We give 'em a spiel about reptiles while they're doing it. It's a blast to watch kids pet a snake for the 1st time.
