As we know most Crotalus are live bearers, but C. precastus precastus will sometimes lay a nice clutch of smoking cigarbutticus and defend them quite well too I might add.



This one had red eyes but due to extreme weather and lack of adequate cover is in need of better care, which I don't think it is going to get under my husbandry. Maybe a new C. ceramicus would weather better.
