Brent, One thing I want to say is that line bred traits can be very predictable... I dont think line bred traits should not be bred into condas... I mean, red hogs are linebred... When line bred traits are strengthened by breeding them out, over time they start to act dominant and even recessive in some cases...
I do not think the mode of inheritance would disqualify a color or pattern as a morph... In fact, if it can be passed down genetically with some frequency and it differs from wild types, it is a morph... What would disqualify one would be a pattern or color anomaly due to incubation temps or fluctuation of temps...
Hog morphs are still in their infancy compared to other snake species... The linebred morphs are still somewhat new and not as strong as they can potentially be...
