when you breed a platty to a platty, you have a chance of getting any one or combination of the three superforms. a platty x platty can produce lucy's, ivories, or ultra's. since all three "phases" are a super form of that co-dom gene, all three are possible. the chances of producing ultras and lucy's are very very low when breeding a platty x platty, but they are there
