Ah man I had something just like that happen to me in highschool when I was chosen to take care of the school snakes for the summer!
They had a 7 foot boa and a 13 foot Burmese. I had a 6 foot gopher snake so they nominated me for summer duties. Anyhow, I had a big ol wooden box cage that my dad made for me, prob like 6x3x3 or so. So they all kinda shared the box together since I didn't have anywhere else to put them. Yeah I know not good looking back. But anyhow, on this particular feeding day, I decided to feed the boa first. So I take out the Burmese and put him in my shower to chill until the boa was done. Then I would switch. So while I take the Burmese through my room he caught a wif of the rabbit's sitting in the box nearby. I hadn't noticed it though. So I set him in the shower, and shut the door. Then I go get my gopher snake and put him in the shower with the Burmese. Stupid yes I know. So I walk away and hear this loud crash of shampoo bottles, I run back to see what happened, and find the Burmese with my gopher snake in his mouth trying to constrict him. I go grab my dads motorcycle gloves, put them on and jump in the shower to save my gopher snake. I pry open the pythons mouth and get my gopher out, but by the time I had done this a few minutes had spanned and the python had gotten some coils around me. So I find myself completely jacked by coils moments later and I am thinkin...wuh oh this not good. So he is squeezing the crap outta me, my arms are basically pinned, and I decided...ok time to play dead so he wont squeeze even tighter and then maybe really frickin kill me! So I stopped struggling and sure enough he quit tightening his coils moments later. So a minute or so goes by and he starts loosening up and doing the "where do I start to eat this meal" search. Once I felt him loosen up enough I was able to get an arm free and grabbed his tail to stat unwinding him off me. Took me a while but its kind like when someone is squeezing your hand, once you get their thumb with your other hand you can kinda unwind their entire grip. So I found that to be true with the snakes tail there. I was pretty bloody from the bites but my clothes took most of the damage and I patched myself up without too much trouble. Anyhow, thats my story haha! I can imigine my moms face if she woulda found me on the shower floor with a python trying to eat me lol!!! She hates snakes alot and that would not have helped at all. The whole thing was my own fault cause this snake was the coolest thing ever to everyone that held him! I just had to learn a good lesson of animal instincts haha! After the whole song and dance he calmed down and we made up. He had his rabit a few minutes later and all was well in the world again

Ok fine just Markus.
The very existence of flamethrowers means that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves..."You know, I really want to set those people over there on fire...but I'm just not close enough to get the job done!
