Either cage will work. You can add a heat pad as needed.



Here are some features that I find great:



1. Boaphile does a really nice job with heat installation where the cages can be stacked without pinching the heater or wires. And they use the lower-watt-density 22inch wide Flexwatt. That is the best flexwatt to use for a larger heated area.



2. Boaphile cages are heat-bent and glued. This means they don't leak as is, and you do not need silicon to seal them. I find that to be a nice feature.



Further info:

AP cages use 1/2inch thick PVC. Boaphile uses 1/4 inch. If using screws like with AP cages, the material has to be thicker than 1/4 inch. If using heat-bending and glue as with Boaphiles, the rigidity is greater and therefore thinner material can be used to keep the cage weight down.



Again, either cages will work out nicely.
