The amendment stands - there is only one amendment and it is noted - the text is not yet available - politically speaking this is not unusual in the least.

In the last hearing they specifically asked to hear from a panel of experts before moving forward - this is not a step back.

Yes there is also the chance and possibility that the special interest groups can and will try to add the other snakes - but that has not happened yet at this point the amendment is in tact.
