That is absolute pure BS!, and just another stupid story for the general public to get all excited over.
The record holding Burmese Python "Baby" of Illinois was an absolute behemoth of almost 27 feet long, and weighed 403 pounds.
A guy sent me a pic of an "alleged" 15 Eastern Diamondback, and it was so obvious the snake was held up infront of the camera, and the people were far back in the distance to give the impression it was much larger, just like some people hold a fish they caught out at full arms length to make it look much bigger..LOL!
The silly Diamondback was in the 5 maybe 6 foot range at best. Another thing that pissed me off is they killed the thing, when they could have EASILY relocated it, they had it at the end of a long 6 foot pole with a grasping tong end on it, but chose to strangle the snake with it instead of simply placing it it a container to relocate the animal. But it was one of those "look at me" hero saves the public from monster snake things, like David slaying goliath..LOL!
This sort of crap is really irritating to me. The general public is not real "bright" as a general rule.
