I got a 10 foot retic last Thursday. Beautiful male, in great shape, but ready to shed. Put him in his new enclosure, which he checked out from top to bottom immediately. Right after that, he went into his huge water basin, and he's been in there soaking ever since. 6 days and counting. He doesn't have mites, I checked him out when I first got him, and his eyes were glossed over, he was definitely ready to shed--but is 6 days of soaking normal? I'm starting to wonder if he's an eel or a snake at this point, lol. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
