Sorry I know there are big rattlers out there but that one doesn't look like one of them. Look at the tongs and then look at the size of the head of the snake. That thing is not as big as they are saying. I wouldn't doubt if it's only about 6ft.

too bad it was killed and too bad they didn't get better pics with a better reference for scale.
