If that is what you say IMO is, I could call a Hypo a Normal

BCI (knowing it is a Morph)- just wrong and misguided info that

can confuse people down the road. I have never talked to Paul

just Damian. D is a good guy but a Phenotype and a 'cross' are 2

totally different areas when reguarding the Sunset Morph. I would

only get Sunsets from Damian (have not seen Pauls stock)but I

bought into a new project which is sweet, but he is what is named

a 'Possible het for Sunrise' (Albino Sunsets), but putting any

type of Colombian blood into the Sunsets would just make them a

mixed Super Hypo, correct?? Yes there is a chance of being het

Anerythristic (hearsay) but stated that Sunset Boas are 50-50

crossed Panimanian/Hogg Orangetail Super Hypo. He is 50% het for

Albino, and also Calico (Paradox on a Normal body). Everybody

has their own opinion on how genetics work, but in MOST CASES

it is Black and White (Co, R).

With the splash of Hogg (not 50%), my little guy is more like his "Candy Cane" Line (Sunglow Paradox w/ 50% Pan/ Col blood.)



There is multiple genetics at play in my case, I love my Boa

either way and he will breed to my Poss Hypermel female who is

what I belive a Longicauda x CA cross Hyper. I am hoping the

Calico and the Hypermel are related and makes something new to

the awesome Industry, related genetically.



Do you see where I am coming from or am I digging too deep? I

HAVE TO HAVE correct knowledge when reguarding these precious

animals, I wish Damian would chime in, but I have been trying to

get concrete info on my male ( I passed the sister on to a good

friend w/ a breeder contract)let alone get pics of the Dame to

my Calico. He is a very busy guy, but I am in the dark here about

what exactly I have (Calico Sunset- named, or Candy Cane). Who

knows. In having correct knowledge means I can help others with

questions reguarding genetics without the possibility of being

wrong.
