Matt-

It really isn't difficult at all, though I know the process must be intimidating the first time around.

For hondos, the low 60s are adequate brumating temps-though they can easily handle much cooler-down to the low-mid 50s. Just make sure to stop feeding well before you drop the temps (at least 7-10 days), and make sure they have access to water during brumation. You'll do fine.
