I have used glue traps to catch hogs (and other species). It works great. Also, another trick is to put some baking power down (in corners, across hallways, etc...) to see if it is moving. I would check the glue traps 2-3 times a day.
I had a friend of mine lose a hognose about 4 months back. She first put down some baking power and was surprised by how much it moved around during the day (while she was at work). We put down glue traps and had it within 48 hours...
Best of luck and keep us posted.
