Being feed every 4 days is on the high end of feeding, hatchling corns up to about a year old, in my opinion, shouldn't be fed sooner than every 5th day. By the time they are close to a year old, once a week is plenty, using appropriate sized prey.
There is also the fact the pet store may not be diligent in noticing exactly when the snake actually shed their skin...its possible the skin was lying around for a couple days before being noticed and marking the shed day as the 10th. As the start of a shed cycle till the actual shed comes off, can easily be 2-6 days, its not unreasonable to have a shed once every two weeks. When the picture was taken, it has been over a week since the skin was shed. Twice a month isn't unusual especially in the first year and under a heavy feed cycle as this snake apparently is. ----- PHLdyPayne
