The Spring and Summer of 2008 where magnificent with respect to field herping and producing some wonderful captive animals. As a result of persistent badgering and bragging on the part of Dell and myself about the fantastic season we were having, our good buddy 'Jose Ole' came out to Montana for a few weeks of fun before heading back to the toiling life of a graduate student. I think (hope) ‘Jose Ole’ had a good time out here: we found many milks, caught plenty of trout, and drank gallons of beer (he held his own pretty well for an out-of-stater!). Not only is he a pretty good guy, but his photography skills rock. I’ve saved and compiled a group photographs taken by “burrito boy”, and what follows is a tribute. Some are field photos, while some are captive animals – a few of which now reside in the collections of our fellow forum members. All rights of photograph ownership belong to ‘Jose Ole’.

Since I’ve still only got partial access to my photos, I’ll have to rely on Dell to add some action shots to this post.
