it was before the law on a memorial day weekend....the delaware kid was staying in those cabins behind the phillips 66 station .... our first one was caught at about 730(sun was still up) on 90 (before the improvements) in front of perry chalk's ranch.....lee couldn't stop the van cause an empty beer can(schlitz) rolled under the brake pedal....caught a bunch of things....caught mexicana fever....they weren't fugly....least not then....everybody had a cb....lee was the rock rattler...
