If tens of thousands of people send in applications and innundate the USFWS offices with paperwork, perhaps this will give the government an idea of how much work would be involved in enforcing such a ban. Given that an ISP is what you would need to maintain one of these animals if the ban were to pass, and there is no clause as to what to do with current captive pythons, it is reasonable to assume that the idea is for you to get the permit anyway. They could deny 100,000 permits, but if they look at the inbox and see 100,000 more--perhaps this would put a government agency on our side. Just a thought. [ Hide Replies ]
