eeek! is it mites?

I just received two female '09 boas yesterday. Looking at them this morning and they have little red lice looking things running along them.... is that mites or? Do i want to treat it now when they are stressed from the move or wait until they get settled in? never had any creepy crawlies on my things before, need advice!
