That probably isn't the best idea either. They are still illegal where venomous snakes are not allowed. They should still be treated like a venomous snake. I would hate to find out they hard way that the surgery wasn't successful or done properly, and that doesn't even touch the surface of the ethical and moral thoughts that many people have on venomoids.
