You are correct. Sending snake skins to legislators is stupid.

We need to attend every town hall that we can and talk to our legislators. Sending pictures of kids with pet snakes as another suggested is also a good idea. Don't show up with a snake unannounced, but if a legislator is willing to meet one of these animals, letting him/her hold a pet python or boa might help.
