When you have Senators and Representatives that have already questioned why this isn't simply a FL legislation then yes WE should have capitalized on that along with shooting it down completely. It's not throwing them under the bus it's limiting damages by realistic expectations - they would still have to have the laws passed in their state. And lets face the number of states that don't have Burms ensconced in their Everglades far outweighs the one that does.



Plus by allowing them to make this a national legislation it's not only going to stunt the industry but now after declaring his victory Senator Nelson is proposing legislation to bypass that 4 years of scientific research the USFW takes to add animals to the Lacey Act. That puts EVERYTHING on the USHS or PETA list in jeopardy because they finally found a Senator Ho they can use.
