A ban on Python ownership is a step backwards for conservation. We know turtles/tortoises have been devastated in Asia in a little over a decade for the China food/voo-doo med.market and conservationist have addressed the problem. But what about snakes? The only conservation for assurence colony's for snakes is the (was the), free market trade in the USA by the private sector. No 501c3's no dues, Zoo's, Gov.grants, just the normal effect of free interprise assuring plenty of animals and the abillity to have them ready when the powers to be get around to it. We can defy this destiny but this is not the vishion of the annointed. Vic Morgan 2009 post America. | ||
