I spent 2 months supplementing the BP as a Air Guard member from MN in '06. We worked in Nogales and stayed in Tucson. Saw a lot of neat lizards in Nogales and a few fast black racers (saw them all in Saguaro national park) and that one gopher snake in Tucson. Some army guys spotted the gopher and a crowd gathered. I was surprised, everyone was nice and respectful to the snake and let it move on with its business.
