First message: If you’re leaving your house tonight, or having people over to celebrate New Years, take letters with you for everyone to sign to oppose S373. Get them at www.Kill-S373.com
Second message: Change your outgoing “signature” for your emails to something referencing www.Kill-S373.com and ask for your family, friends, and colleagues help in fighting S373.
Third message: I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how everyone can have more of an impact fighting S373. I think the biggest issue is that the majority of reptile owners don’t visit online forums. Most of the reptile owners have one reptile, maybe a few, and their reptile world revolves around those few animals, and their local pet shop.
That got me thinking, what if we can get pet stores to have all of their customers to print up and sign the letters at www.Kill-S373.com That could be HUGE! I know it’s been recommended before, but I don’t know anyone who’s actually done it.
So I called the largest reptile importer near me, Incredible Pets and asked Pete (who I’ve purchased several animals from) about what he’s doing to help fight this legislation. I was BLOWN AWAY by his contribution!! In fact, I was inspired! I was inspired to share his story in the hopes that other pet store owners would see what he’s doing, and how one store can have a MASSIVE impact, and they’d be inspired to do what Pete’s doing! I asked Pete if he would be willing to be a part of a video to spread the word and he said he was willing to help in any way he could!

They can be useful for people who want a real in-depth understanding of what’s happening, or just want a basic overview of what’s going on.
Print both of them out as a reference guide to bring to the pet store. Also, bring in the form letters with the Senators name and address already filled out. You’ll need one for each Senator. In fact, if you can bring several for each Senator, that would be even better. Ask them to keep one as a master document for photocopies and immediately start having customers sign the others.
Then, let them know they’ll need to send off the documents to Tom Wolfe for arrival no later than January 12th. Ask them to call you the day before you send them off so you can come in and take a picture of their efforts to share with the world!
