Just got back in Dec .The University of Puerto Rico has a study Island off La Parguera There is also a bioluminesent bay there. You can't go on the island. but goto see Johnie at the pier he'll take you around the iguanas for 10 bucks a person they run up on the docks to see you. Bio bay is different tour again at same area 10 bucks again at night,you can swim in the water and it illuminates from the plancton. clean hotels for 58.00 a night goto little store across from piers to get room I'll try to dig up name later tonight.I personally loved it.Just want to get on island there are tons of them.(Maybe call university to see if you can go on ,I found out about it at last minute)It's like a hundred yards off shore.Bring plastic to cover cameras.I'm going back in Oct to go to Mona talking to rangers now to get permits they only let so many people out at a time no lodging just camping..dropped off one day picked up a couple later takes real good planning.Rinco was awesome bring watershoes coral bottom hard on the feet..Great surf..Lady at surf shop has good photo's on Mona of cyclura..She used to go there all the time..I'll dig up all the imformation later tonight.I hope your trip is as awesome as mine was.P.S. It is whale season off Rinco right now they feed by there.I have photo's I just have problems loading on this site..
