Isn't it just as likely the hots will come under scrutiny for the same reasons as the burms - that they could survive in Florida ?
I mean, I recall an episode of "Animal Cops Miami" where some of the wildlife crew were trapping supposedly "released" cobras in the wild. IF those cobras were really surviving wild in Florida, I would expect that to get a whole bunch more people afraid then Burmese Pythons...
I am kind of surprised this angle has not been addressed yet BY the folks down in Florida ? Maybe the people pushing S373 were afraid to tack venomous animals onto S373 (yet), for concern that it might then bridge the rift between python/boid keepers and hot keepers, and thereby give us all a reason to work together against this thing, and be stronger ?
Just my 2 cents.
