they asked that I include a picture of myself so that the decision makers and other teachers could see that I am clean cut and professional. They said that other animal presenters were sometimes scary (long hair, tattoos, wild beards, etc.), and they would feel more comfortable about the snakes if the presenter looked like a "normal person." (Their words, not mine)

Mike it is DEF something right now we all should consider. As I work in an office as a part time, I do need to have a certain ability to basically cover everything! I have made it a further point to clean up a little more with this legislation moving forward as I do public presentation. Of course, working in rescue, it has always been a pet peeve of mine that many rescue workers will not make themselves presentable. So I always have taken that extra step. ----- Cindy Steinle
