Well I finally got ahold of some hatchlings from a line of Mex Mex that have eluded me for almost 11 years.
Back in 1999 Kim Caldwell decided to close her reptile business. She had some awesome Thayeri and Mex Mex that turned black with bright red/orange saddles....I called her up and told her that I wanted her thayeri and Mex Mex......She told me that the Mex Mex sold just prior to my call and that these Mex Mex were from Lloyd Lemke. Ric Blair beat me to them. Ric produced many offspring from these, but had waiting lists full and I was not able to squeeze in line, then I took a 3+ year hiatus from the hobby......Recently Ryan Hoyer acquired Ric's breeder Black Phase Mex Mex and last summer he produced some awesome offspring. I emailed him 5 months ago wanting to be on the "list." Finally he offered me some a couple days ago.....So I just ordered a trio of them...Finally I will have some around February 2nd or so.....LOL He is the only one that I know of that crossed the granite line into the black line this year..... The granites are not Lemke line, but are Lemke X Galvan line....
Here are the ones I am getting..... Pics courtesy of Ryan Hoyer. Female from Black Phase Male X Granite Phase Female
