Beautiful snake rack Russ. I build some similar racks and love them! Easy to feed in (I use newspaper) and easy to keep clean. And I also use a local store and get wood/melamine seconds for dirt cheap. Really makes building your own cost effective.



One point I noticed on your enclosure that you may want to consider. For my racks with longer tubs I found that along the top edge of the tub, a snake could "theoretically" push towards the middle and slip out. The longer the tub, the easier these "bend". Fixing this would be to simply add another upright board in the middle up the rack to strenghten or "block" this potential escape route. Just my 2 cents
