Last I heard they where being very tight lipped with the explanation that there would be a formal report. Just hope it comes out before any legislation goes through!

I did see on the VPI site a report that they suddenly added more animals recently. Made me wonder if all the original ones died and they wanted to test some new artificial hide to see if they could get some to survive.

I guess it comes down to if the unusual line from the Everglades (narrow genetic background with no morphs from what I’ve read) comes from an area where Burmese pythons actually have sense to hide from the cold or if they are like the ones we keep as pets which like most tropical boids have no sense for avoiding cold temperatures.
