I know that The Snake Keeper created double hets with their line of axanthic (also they call caramel "xanthic" quite a while ago. A friend of mine has a pair but I haven't asked for an update for a while. A couple years ago when I was following it closer I remember hearing that TSK thought they where hatching the combo but didn't hear back. Sort of remember maybe they hit it the next year but I don't see it listed on the ballpython.com morph page so maybe not. Might turn out to be a really cool combo. Suppose something snow like but maybe different.

FYI there are some questions if caramel females can lay good eggs (you mentioned caramel female in your pairing). I've heard second had that at least one breeder has produced with them so there might not be a problem or it could be like the caramel kinking issue where apparently some variable eliminates the problem in some collections.

On the kinking issue I've corresponded with three different caramel breeders having various length kink free strings that all happen to feed rats fed Mazuri 6F. Not a ton of data to be sure of anything but I'm wondering if the caramel mutation can be partially compensated for by some special nutritional requirement not needed by normal for caramel ball pythons.
