Harlan or Purina lab block with Volkmann rodent diet on top of the block. The Volkmann is seeds, grains, nuts, corn, etc. The mice will pull the Volkmann through as they rotate/eat the block.

My mice and my BP's grow fast and my mouse mom's stay fat while nursing and have big litters. I only feed mice to my BP's and they do great and are breeding in their 3rd year.
