Merck veterinary manual online. I'd post the link on the list but it would get deleted. I Might be able to copy and paste some of the recommendations.
Some meds are toxic to the Kidneys and or liver so make sure the animal is well hydrated!!!
If you are to try Baytril. There is a 100mg/ml dose available this may be more realistic for treating a very large animal.
OH 100lbs is about 45.3kg (2.2 lbs per kg)
Warm up the caging and increase the humidity. you want the whole cage around 85 without hot spot max of 95. Higher humidity will help to loosen secretions.
Please also consider environmental contaminants or conditions that could cause URI symptoms. Formaldehyde(in new plywood), Ammonia, very dusty bedding, very low humidity or HIGH humidity in cold conditions. These could be a causitive factor in the developing the URI and potentially mimic one in some cases.
You really should go to a vet!! Especially in dosing such a very large animal. UNLESS you are like me and the closest competent vet is 170miles away.
I take no liability in the care of your animal.
