Posted by: PHLdyPayne at Tue Feb 16 23:55:09 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by PHLdyPayne ] As I am not a reptile vet, I have no clue what are the recommended dosages are for reptiles. Since the one vet how knows snakes but just refuses to handle Burmese pythons (which sounds utterly stupid to me, as a sedated Burmese Python isn't anymore difficult to handle than a sedated ball python. Only difference is the vet will need a few other guys to help move the animal.) There are also several large snake breeders in Florida, all who have vets who they see regularly. Post this in the Burmese python forum, more species specific advice is likely to come out there. [ Hide Replies ]
