I'm planning on building a rack system for my ball pythons and was wondering if I could get a few pointers from people that have used rack systems and flexwatt heat tape. First of all, I was wondering whether I should go with the 3" tape at 6 or 10 watts, 4" tape at 8 watts, or 11" tape at 20 watts. The bin dimensions are going to be 20"x19"x8".
Next, I was wondering if using a single rheostat with the flexwatt wired in parallel between the cages would regulate the temperature of each cage properly. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!
