...is not a good comparison, as it represents both a county and a group of counties in Illinois and Indiana known as the Kankakee Sands. Big difference between naming a region and naming a single town.
And no, you're not being singled out; this topic has appeared on this forum before. We herpers are viewed as an easy target for the aforementioned groups, as well as animal right's groups since we don't have the lobby to fight. Unfortunately it appears most folks view this and other forums as little more than a mutual admiration society, rather than as a source of sharing and gaining information, and it seems that those of us who've been around and seen a few things over time (not to mention learnng a few painful lessons along the way)and our insight are not welcome here. Learn on your own, hopefully while there's still time.
