My second ever gravid ball python (1st one was a pied female that laid 5 weeks ago) had her pre-lay shed 35 days ago. My pied female laid at 30 days. When should I become concerned about a possible egg retention? She was 1800-1900 grams empty when I bred her so I don't think size is an issue. I have heard/read that 25-40 days is the usual time frame to lay after the pre-lay shed.
