Yes, I agree. Large apex diurnal serpents don't stand a chance. By nature, their ranges are huge. They are bold, not timid. The more roadways and other unnatural human encumbrances intersect their ancient pathways the more they are doomed.

Just saying "No" is no way to conserve these creatures. Unfortunately, the regulators really don't care, so long as it looks good and it's politically expedient. The professional nature boys have license to study until the end, and all is well. And they get to say, "we did what we could". Yeah, right.
