Personification: affixing human emotions/feelings on non-human animals (my interpretation). Snakes are about as basic an evolutionary entity as there is. They don't "miss" us when we're gone, don't feel elation when we return, etc., etc. They hunt/eat when hungry, seek water when thirsty, gravitate to appropriate climes throughout the year, breed when pheremones/other triggers are present, and act to defend themselves when threatened. | ||
