I can tell you what happened here in California years ago. Death rates of 80% of the reptiles seized and held. If any of us killed animals like the state of California did we would still be in jail! Hundreds taken and only a hand full lived even when returned because of the lack of proper care they recievied. I believe all the eggs taken dried out.
