Posted by: annulata at Sun Mar 14 22:20:35 2010 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by annulata ] In Florida the agency known as the FWCC makes all the rules regarding exotic animals and neither you, nor your political representatives can do a thing about it due to the agency being granted constitutional authority over all wildlife. The agency answers to a board of Commissioners, but they aren't elected either. They are appointed by the Governor. As long as people continue to be mauled and killed by tigers in the U.S. the next Governor's race could depend largely on a candidate's commitment to overhauling this entire set up. [ Hide Replies ]
