Well here is a normal situation for snake lovers here is how i would address it my other half hates boas too lmao. As for a male boa obviously you need to get one that is everything you want it to be because it may be your only one. So i would find a morph that you cant live with out and get it. Two ideas for you to ponder one i would get a dwarf boa they come in everything that the Columbian's do with out the size. (most are under five feet) second find a breeder that has the reputation for awesome breed types. As for your wife get her a reptile she couldnt live without for my other half it is poison dart frogs (gets their attention off what your doing lmao) and in time they will get use to the idea and make it easier on you. This is what worked for me and this is strictly my opinion what you do with it is up to you lmao good luck
