I was moved to pity as I walked by a table at this past weekend's Columbia SC show where the seller was trying to get someone to purchase his male 3' Vendventer stock Lousiana Pine... for 200$. It was Sunday and no one wanted it, the snake was dog tame and in shed, so didn't look so good. Well, frankly, I felt bad for the man, and that poor beast looking up at me under the plexi glass with those slightly bluish down cast eyes... I felt a lump in my throat, and then felt a dent in my wallet immmediatly after... for no reason I could think of except that I seemed to be in a daze... my friend also felt a dent in his wallet as he loaned me the 40$ I was lacking to purchase the snake... and well... this guy shed yesturday... and I took these pics today. Can you all blame me for having all this PITY? Where was the COMPASSION? Thank goodness I was there to administer my compassion for this animal.
