I agree, hognose may be venomous, but should not be considered dangerous to humans. Recent research has revealed that a number of colubrid snakes contain venom, including but not limited to Garter snakes & Ringneck Snakes. Even commonly kept lizards (e.g. bearded dragons) are now known to have venom.
