I have to say, with reptile hybrids, it would not be impossible...



As previous reptile hybrids have already shown, breeding out of genus can be done... Animals far removed from eachother for hundreds of housands of years are still able to hybridize...



One case in point Ball pythons can breed with Condros... 2 different genus, 2 different Continents thousands of miles way from eachother...
