I'm with you on kings...I can't find 'em in the field. And my parent's find speckleds in their yard, lucky people... Bulls/gophers I've found most often (here in Amarillo) morning/early afternoon in the mid-high 70s. They seem to be generalist. I've found 'em in prairie, on rock, in cactus patches, in a tree once (who says they don't climb), on the road, in parking lots...one got inside a retail store I worked at, winning the award for most surprising find ever. I've found 'em in city parks, rocky slopes...yeah, pretty much any habitat we have locally. ----- We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.
