I hunt central kansas quite a lot and find all 3 on a regular basis and all in similar habitat. Time of the day doesnt seem to play to much into it ive found a lot in the morning and in the afternoon. I drive backroads looking for south and west facing rock cuts, outcroppings, and rocky hillsides. Depending on temps and rain as to wether high up or down low on hill is better but i flip any and all rock small to very large. Also rocky dry creek beds and gullies are good. Old farmsteds and junk pyles with carpet, wood, and tin can be real good. As far as temp goes usually middle to end of april when its consistently 50 nightime low and 70 daytime high into the end of may when temps are 60/80 is best time temp. Hope this helps keep us posted on your finds and maybee we'll cross paths on the backroads.
