today was awesome got a call from sheriffs dept, i assist on all their reptile related calls, wernt sure what they had, turned out to be prarie kings, they found two huge males one a dark solid brown almost black with no pattern, the other a light brown with nice pattern, they were combating for a female,then found those then called me in and after about 15min found the female they were combating over awesome looking light tan girl, all 3 fat as pigs, they had a good year last year, all i can say is thanks to the sheriffs dept cause i wasnt even planning on going out, until today ive only ever found 4 prarie kings, 2 others in Adams county,one in Brown IL and one elsewhere, so 3 in the first accidental day of the season im stoked LOL
