The reason I ask this is because I've been asked about them before. Most people want the coasta rican ones because they are more colorful when, in fact, they both pretty much look the same. A few yeas ago, while living in Texas, I had the opportunity to visit a breeding pond with many of these in it. They were pretty much like most toads, in that some were beautiful, and some were bland. They went from bright dark and light bands, to drab olive green. I've seen pictures of very pretty ones from Costa Rico. But, I've seen some beauties in Texas also. I had one that lived near my mailbox that I saw every time I checked the mail. She was every bit as beautiful as any I had seen from C.R. The reason I'm telling you this is that I don't want you to get gouged by someone who will sell you one,saying it's from C.R., for much more than one you could have gotten much cheaper from Texas that was just as pretty. I'll keep an eye out for one for you in the mean time.

How to get your wife to like toads; 1.Get a male toad. 2.Get him to hug your wifes wrist (amplexus). 3. Tickle him so he chirps in protest. 4.Say "Awww, he likes you". Note; Make sure he pees first or you may receive bodily harm during this procedure.
