Too much UVB???

Hello everyone,



I just finished buying a new 24 inch flourecsent UVB bulb for my beardy cage. My cage is a melamine cage with some ventilation on each side. However, the bulb I got said on the package that it was recommended for screened terrariums and that the screens will help to filter out UVB rays. Since my cage does not have the screens on top, does this mean my beardy will be getting too much UVB accumulated in the cage??? I'd appreciate your opinions and advise.
